What is it? Who’s it for? Where do we do it?
- Horses for Courses is an individual or group experience which teaches you to engage with and lead horses from the ground
- A ‘democratizing’ learning experience that a workplace can’t offer, it removes hierarchical’ advantage and formalized barriers to creative input
- Working with individuals or with up to groups 6
- Pre-experience ‘discovery call’ to establish your collective aims and outcomes so we can build a bespoke experience
- We use indoor and outdoor facilities at an Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) accredited location near Worcester, so the weather won’t dampen the experience
Why do it?
- It’s a great opportunity to test and reflect on communication styles, offering insights into how you can develop your relationships
- It helps to build confidence, trust, and connection by considering how we use words, tone of voice and body language more consciously and purposefully
- Horses hear, see, and feel us, picking up on our behaviours and energy. Like people, they react positively or negatively and will anchor those experiences quickly – they serve as a mirror to our own behaviour and messaging
What do you take away?
- Insights into how to communicate more thoroughly and effectively
- A better understanding of your personal strengths and overdone strengths and how to use and manage them more effectively
- A memorable investment of time in personal and team development
- A unique experience with lasting metaphors you can utilise long into the future
- A clear action plan that helps you translate and use your learning into your personal and professional life
